TileWorks artisan and educator Julianna Lange is teaching this three session class. She will teach you a traditional decorative ceramic technique called “Sprigging.”
Sprigs are clay stickers or appliques used to embellish ceramic objects; in this class, a slab-built vase.
In the first session you will sculpt two low relief decorative sprigs, and make a plaster mold.
In the second class, you will make your own slab built vase and attach your sprigs to create a unique piece of functional decorative art.
In the last class, you will glaze your bisque-fired vase.
You will be notified when your piece is ready for pick up. All skill levels are welcome.

Cancellation Policy
If you register for one of our classes or workshops and are unable to attend for any reason, there are no refunds or credits available unless we are able to fill your spot with someone on the waitlist. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to miss your class. If we are able to fill your spot there is a $10.00 fee to cover our time and our processing fees. You are welcome to send someone in your place if you cannot make it, just let us know prior to the class so we can update the class roster. Please note a minimum of 4 people is required for most classes to run. If you have enrolled in a class or workshop that does not meet the minimum requirement to run, you will be issued a full refund. If you have any questions about our cancellation policy, we are happy to answer them prior to signing up to clarify.
