“Timeless Tones at TileWorks”
November 6th and December 4th, 6:00pm-7:30pm
Join us at the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works for an exclusive event designed to let you experience a historic national landmark through a sensory lens.
An immersive sensory journey blending architectural awe with deep somatic restoration. Jill and Anastasia invite you to connect with TileWorks through conscious breathing, crystal singing bowls, chimes, and soothing acoustic vibrations.
As sound reverberates through the building’s thick foundations, feel the physical resonance of the space move through you—grounding the body, calming the nervous system, and creating a profound sense of rest and connection.
Come experience sound, stillness, and the ancient energy of raw earth in a uniquely restorative setting.
- Dress comfortably: Wear loose, warm clothing or layers, as body temperatures tend to drop during deep relaxation.
- BYOM (Bring your own mat): Henry Mercer’s industrial concrete floors were built to last, not to be soft, and while we will create a comfortable setting, we ask everyone to bring their own yoga mat and a blanket to ensure absolute physical comfort during a long period of stillness
- Hydrate: Hydrate well before and after the session. Since our bodies largely made of water the sound waves and resonant frequencies travel through our tissues and cells much more effectively when you are fully hydrated.
- If you have any metal implants, plates, screws, joint replacements, or a pacemaker in your body, please consult your doctor before attending a sound bath! Strong sound frequencies and deep vibrations can sometimes cause discomfort or resonate intensely around metal objects inside the body. Your physician can confirm if acoustic sound therapy is safe for your specific medical situation.
